• We grow our plants here so you can be sure they are suitable for our climate & your garden.

• You keep your dollars working in your community.
• You help preserve local farm land (& local farmers!)
Plants, Produce, Flowers
Ambergardens grows fruit, herb, vegetable, & perennial “starter plants” for your garden.
We’re known for our large selection of tomatoes, basil, gourmet salad greens, herbs & edible flowers,
including many heirloom varieties. We’re proud of our quality lavender plants and flowers and
perennials that are drought tolerant or otherwise easy care.
Not a gardener? Let us grow your veggies & herbs for you. Come see us for incredibly fresh
produce, all from our farm & grown using sustainable & organic farming methods.
In addition, we create planters & hanging baskets, flower / herb arrangements, wreaths & sachets.
Over the years, we’ve developed our own formulas for quality body care and household products,
using herbs we grow here on the farm. We make our products using natural ingredients. We have a
line of Lavender products plus a number of other herb based body & household care goodies. Many
of our products are fragrant because of the herbal infusions and essential oils used in making them,
but we never use artificial fragrance.
Ambergardens Farm & Nursery is open by appointment only. Our products may be purchased at our
Farmers’ Market locations, at the farm, or by mail order. Please contact us a few days ahead for preorders to be picked up at a farmers market or from our farm. Special orders are welcome.
Our farm made natural herbal body & home care products are available year round.
We ship anywhere in the U.S. (not plants or produce). Watch our website for online ordering!
Thank you for supporting your local farmer!

Ambergardens is a small combination nursery and “market farm” founded in 2000, after I admitted my
hobby & passion had simply gotten out of control. I am eclectic by nature and so is the “farm”. We
do a little bit of a lot of things, and like unusual or hard to find plants.
Ambers is my middle name, also my mother’s Maiden name. The name is really in tribute to my
grandmother, who may have been the best cook of all time and who had a wonderful backyard
garden with chickens and veggies of all kinds. As a kid, I remember it was magic to see her get
dinner from the back yard. I don’t know if it is in my genes, but I find myself compelled to grow things,
especially edible plants because I also love to cook!
I am a Master Gardener & Master Composter. I believe in & follow sustainable & organic farming
methods; using drip irrigation, compost & organic fertilizers to foster biodiversity and a healthy habitat.
Synthetic pesticides & herbicides have never and will never be used.
